PRACTICE Shauna is currently fully dedicated to GENBAND Inc. as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
EXPERIENCE: Prior to joining LANCASTER HELLING, Shauna served as General Counsel for a variety of public and private companies, including GENBAND Inc., Hotels.com, and TriStar Aerospace Co. Shauna began her career as an associate at Husch and Eppenberger, a leading Missouri law firm recently ranked as the 175th largest firm in the United States.
EDUCATION AND ADMISSIONS: Shauna received a B.A. from the University of Central Arkansas and her J.D. from the University of Arkansas where she served on the Arkansas Law Review. In addition, she received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Named a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly magazine in 2004, Shauna is admitted to practice law in Texas, Missouri and Arkansas and is a member of the Texas and Austin Bar Associations.
ACTIVITIES AND AWARDS: Shauna is a founding member and President-Elect of the Association of Women in Technology in Austin. As a breast cancer survivor Shauna is an active advocate for breast cancer issues, serving on the Board of Directors of the Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas, the Operations Committee of the Breast Cancer Services Alliance and as a founding member and Chairman of the Pink Ribbon Cowgirls, a social network of young breast cancer survivors. «Back to Attorneys
